Terms and conditions of sale
This is my condensed version of the Terms and Conditions of Sales section
of the Lake County Nursery catalog. Please use it as a guideline only.
Qualified purchasers
All customers must possess and provide a copy of a valid nursery dealers license,
business card, company check, or tax exemption certificate.
Minimum order
Lake County Nursery has no minimum order for pick up! For delivery of plant
material they do require at least a $1500.00 order.
Delivery
Lake County Nursery uses several reliable local trucking fleets to deliver your
nursery stock. Combination loads can generally be arranged. Pooling your order
with other area nurseries will be considered. You will need to contact me and
make your request well in advance of the desired delivery date. There is a small
charge for this service. Please see Shipping Costs
for more important information.
Acknowledgments
Order acknowledgments are mailed as soon as possible. For specific questions
concerning your order or plant availability please contact me directly.
Cancellations
Please order what you intend to purchase. If you find it necessary to
adjust
your order please do so by December 15th. This will allow us to offer the
material at the January trade shows. All cancellations are subject to a 25%
charge of the original order amount. No cancellations will be accepted after the
stock is dug or assembled.
 Volume
Discounts
Lake County Nursery offers discounts based on
the the total dollar volume you purchase in a one
year period. Discounts begin when you spend as
little as $5000.00. You can save up to 20% off
catalog pricing. The discount schedule is
explained in more detail in the yearly catalog.
Lake County Nursery also offers discounts based
on the amount of nursery stock purchased on one
invoice. Pricing is based on purchases of a single
plant variety and size. Prices are grouped as 1-9, 10-24, and 25 up. No mixing of
sizes to arrive at a larger discount is allowed.
Credit Application
A credit application is available by request. Lake County Nursery's normal terms
are net 30 days to established accounts. Visa and MasterCard are also accepted.
COD or advance payment may be required for some accounts. Again, more
complete information is available in the catalog.
Claims
Claims regarding damages or shortages must be made within 10 days after delivery
of stock. Discrepancies in size, quantity, and quality must be made on the receipt
at the time of delivery.
